It is only when you are ready that you will be tested. It is only when you are ready that you will be used. It is only when you are ready that you will be chosen.
It is only when the treasures of your heart have been discovered that you will realise that all the treasures of this world cannot outweigh them. Therefore, rouse yourself from your enervating practice and be rewarded with the wealth that is beyond measure. (STQ-2012-p41,43)
Love is Real. Love is There. Love never Departs! Do not just seek love, give love.
Know that those who are seeking love from others are too many to be counted while those who give love to others are too few to be met. This being so, be a “giver” of love and, someday you will be loved without seeking for it by the many whom you have given your love to ~ those unloved and unlovable! (STQ-2013-p4, 2012-p29)
Make not your Pledges rashly, unthinkingly or emotionally or they will be short-lived. They will disappear after the inspiration of the moment dissolves.
Pledge not to do things you know you have not been able to do in the past unless you are certain that you will do your utmost to fulfill it even if you have to pay a very heavy price for doing it, or you will be setting yourself up for failure. (STQ-2012-p29,31)
It is the bad character, weighed down by its karmic burdens and debts, that keeps one bonded to the lower levels of life.
It is the good character, rid of much of its karmic burdens and debts, that enables one to rise steadily upward to the higher existences of life.
The choice is for one to make. Develop the Good Character and let its fragrance attract the presence of holy beings, or degrade the character and let its stench attract the attention of lowly beings! (STQ-2012-p43,42)
Today, the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, is Puk Kake Sin Cho the Spirit of the North Festive Day.
Life is not just about simply existing but living. Life is not empty and meaningless but full and meaningful. But this shall require living a life of moderation and soberness so that wantonness is avoided. Treading a Good Path that disciplines and reminds you of your life’s purpose - this is when you learn to get in touch with your own spiritual essence; this is when your journey towards your inner self and living a spiritual life begins!! (STQ-2012-p34)
Learning to regard others as more important than one’s own self is something to strive for. But this is definitely not as easy as it seems. Yet this has to be achieved if the barrier to loving all beings is to be broken down, if loving kindness and compassion is the goal of your practice, and if the harmonious life is to be lived to generate the Great Loving Heart. (STQ-2012-p38)
It is obvious that those who are treading the Path of Compassion should have compassion for those who have come into their lives and for whatever is manifesting around them. For compassion is about wishing others to be free from suffering and the causes of suffering, and compassion means passion for and passion with living beings. So does it also mean having an understanding of the plight of others, and an acceptance for the paths they are treading, for their needs and for their spiritual requirement. (STQ-2012-p39)
As you progress along this Path of the Great Loving Heart, you will soon realise that no one should be unloved and none is really unlovable. This is when you will deepen your commitment to quickly attain the Great Loving Heart so that you may extend your love to them. This is when you will be bringing forth your True Self! (STQ-2012-p36)
Before knowing the Path, what is good or bad is seldom paid heed to. After entering the Path, what is good and what is bad is soon noted. Practising the Path, the understanding that good can be bad and bad can be good is gained. When the Path is realised someday, this is when your life is no longer affected by what is good or what is bad, for the Truth has been uncovered and all pains of opposites transcended. (STQ-2012-p30)
The Divine Chart was revealed in order to enable you to see this heavenly designed Path of Virtue and Wisdom for all of mankind at a glance and to uncover those Teachings that are meant for those who are deserving, which is to say that the Higher Teachings are now ready to be discovered. (STQ-2012-p38)
Be happy to know that the Seasons ahead shall be heralding the living of a life of kindness, wholeness, and peacefulness, which shall have you enjoying a new way of seeing, thinking, and perceiving the Path and rewarding you with a new way of living that is spiritually satisfying. (STQ-2012-p33)
The practice of Self-Evaluating how you have lived in order to recollect what mistakes you have made so that you may correct them now is about looking at the past and going over and over what had happened, what had not happened, what should have happened, what should have been done, and what you should now be doing to correct them. (STQ-2012-p36)
It is with the honest practice of Self-Correction to make good your character that the journey towards yourself and the living of a spiritual life has begun.
Realise then the great importance of this year to your Self-Cultivation, for this is when the real you will be coming forth and you will be learning the new ways to be in the world so that the new life may be lived. (STQ-2012-p35)
You may have gathered many years of knowledge of this Path, but until you have honestly taken on the Practice of Self-Correction, the real work of transforming yourself into a Kuan Yin Contemplative, a Spiritual Warrior, has yet to begin. (STQ-2012-p35)
Practising Self-Correction is not just about being a better person, it is also about getting to know your own self better and getting to feel more centred, relaxed, and in tune with yourself. So, it is also about making a gain in consciousness, which is involved in an honest growth process that is dedicated to your growth and evolution as a conscious being who has spirituality at heart. Taking on the Call to practise Self-Correction is no different from taking on the challenges to develop moral excellence, which is about learning to dominate and conquer those demons of darkness that have been controlling and corrupting your emotions, instincts, passions, desires, and actions. (STQ-2012-p32)
Taking on the Practice of Self-Correction, this is when you have entered the first phase of preparation for your spiritual growth, which emphasises what you would do in order to enter into an honest practice of the Cultivations of the Path that wins you the Great Loving Heart of a Kuan Yin Contemplative. (STQ-2012-p31)

Welcome this great Season that is dedicated to Self-Correction which shall reward you with many moments of experiencing the life enhancing feelings which indicate your moving on to a new life, if not, a new level of consciousness.
As the Seasons move on, your life will begin to change as a result of practising Self-Correction which will also be gaining you a greater measure of peace, joy, and serenity. (STQ-2012-p39,37)

Om Sari Hum! It is time to teach those who are with you to take on an honest Practice of:
1. Reciting the Holy Names of the Divine Mother,
2. Cultivating the Qualities of the Sacred Mantra,
3. Practising the wonderful Teachings received,
4. Generating the Great Loving Heart,
5. Vowing to take Rebirth in the Pure Land of Potola, and
6. Winning the Supreme and Perfect Enlightenment of a Kuan Yin Being as Swiftly as possible, for the benefit of all sentient beings! (STQ-2013-p21)
Knowledge is what the brain can conceive and understand. Wisdom is what the mind can intuitively perceive and fully comprehend. According to your ability to understand, you shall be taught.
Think through. See through. Follow through. (STQ-2012-p26x3)
Living in these tumultuous times with the world in crisis, many people are in distress and misery because the world situation is getting from bad to worse, whether economically, environmentally, or politically. But for those who are more evolved, what has been happening around the world over the past few decades and will continue to happen in the years ahead will not be viewed negatively since they are aware that changes must be there during each century, a millennium, and more so, an Age Change, and that these changes will eventually bring benefits and blessings to mankind, especially through the transformation of their consciousnesses.
This is how the world and mankind evolve, with the “old world” giving way to the “new world” and the “old way of life” giving way to the new. (STQ-2012-p24)
Taking on the Practice of Self-Change will bring about a thorough spiritual transformation in the deepest level of your consciousness, for this shall bring about the letting go of your present way of life and creating a new one with an entirely new character that has spiritual interest at heart.
Realise then that living in accordance with the way of the Path is about transforming your character and raising your level of consciousness so that you may adapt to the changes that the New Age of Humanity shall soon be bringing in the years ahead. (STQ-2012-p23)
Revere the Path for what it has to teach and to unfold. Embrace the Path and know that it is the Gift of Heaven to enable man to become perfect by attaining the Great Loving Heart that will help him to reach union with the Divine.
Be very, very glad that this Path that enables man to become divine has come to be, to benefit the fortunate who traversing it will be re-introduced to their own greatness, to the goodnesses that are innate in them. This is why it is called The Path of Cultivating The Ten Goodnesses. (STQ-2012-p22)
Accept whatever becomings that should be flowing into your life in the weeks ahead. And know that they are meant to change your vibrations to modify you physically, mentally and spiritually so that you may face the Seasons ahead with a changed consciousness that is more heightened and aware to adapt to the changing times. But know that all difficulties must be cheerfully faced if you are to outgrow them and be placed on to a new spiral of spiritual growth.(STQ-2012-p20)
Attending to what needs to be done in this year of Destiny Change and Self-Change you will be moved to a new level of learning and growth which shall transform your character, your life, and your destiny so that a higher consciousness may be attained and the higher Teachings on how to awaken your Heart of Love accorded to you.
Know that going through the process of practising Self-Evaluating, Self-Knowing, and Self-Correcting you may move on to Self-Development. This is Self-Advancement, this is Self-Evolution, this is the very purpose of LIFE! (STQ-2012-p19,18)
Respect life. Respect your life and those of others. Respect all Heavenly Laws, of which The Law of Cause and Effect is foremost.
For this is the Law that governs your physical and spiritual behaviours whilst on the plane of Earth and much more. Know that failing to respect these Laws that are all powerful, all pervasive, and are governing every aspect of your being will bear dire results, even if you are ignorant of them. (STQ-2012-p18)
(1) Looking at the Divinely-bestowed Chart of Practice of the Path this should at once grant you a great sense of dignity for being in it, and at the same time a great sense of responsibility to accomplish it.
(2) Practise what you have learned. Do what you have taught. Fulfill what you have pledged.
(3) Virtues must be practised. Wisdom must be gained. Reality must be faced. (STQ-2012-p15,27x2)
This Heavenly-conferred Path teaches mankind to live (1) virtuously and (2) wisely, so that the original goodness and purity of his Self-Nature may be restored. Any Path is good and proper if it teaches these two practices. (STQ-2012-p15)
(1) Life is about learning how to receive gracefully and to repay gratefully.
(2) Begin the Practice by doing your best. Then to the best of your ability and then the best that you can become will come to the fore! (STQ-2012-p13,14)
Traps are always there to prevent a spiritual aspirant from attaining his goals of practice. Pleasure, power, success, and fame are among the most dangerous of them.
The right way to attain happiness is to avoid evil conduct and ignoble intentions and to renounce attachment. (STQ-2012-p19,16)
With this new phase of self-training coming into being, a new perspective of the Path and its purposes will soon come into your life. The goal of the practice is to open up your wisdom so as to fully develop your compassionate heart for the good of many. Cultivating the good qualities of the heart is the way to weaken the evil poisons of the mind. (STQ-2012-p9,13x2)
