This is called the Path of Light because it leads one from Darkness to Light. It is also called the Path of Love because it awakens one to the practice of Compassionate Love. Treading the Path of Light and Love is no different from treading the Path of Wisdom and Compassion for its Light is capable of conferring Supreme Wisdom and its Love the All-Embracing Compassion. The Path of Light and Love is that Path that makes bright the mind and lovely the heart of its aspirants! Love the Path for what it can do to uncover the goodness of your heart and the purity of your mind. (STQ-2012-p28,26)

(1) If you have to dream, then don’t dream idle dreams but dream deeply and broadly, and then get to work at them.
(2) Learn to see only that which you would wish to bring into being with constancy, and things shall come to be.

Know that the Practice of Self-Correction is indicative that the time is ripe for you to move from the Phase of Preparation to the Phase of Application, which shall have you learning to live knowingly, generously, benevolently and gracefully, so as to bring joy and hope to the hearts of many. Attaining this shall be the great Fruition of living virtuously, spiritually, nobly, purely and wisely which shall have you living to bring peace, love and inspiration to all who have the affinity with you and the Path. (1) In wishing “peace” upon others, you are also wishing that they will be aware of the Divine’s presence around them or in them.
(2) There may be very many who are praying on bent knees, but how many can you find who are praying on the knees of their hearts?

Your faith ends when you are in fear.
Your devotion ends when fear begins.
Your Practice ends when your fear takes hold of you!
Dharma is most precious to life because it is that which is able to bring fear and suffering of all types to an end. Appreciating this, seek refuge in it. (STQ-2013-p5,2012-p45)

Live to establish a good relationship with others. Better still enter into an Awakening Relationship that will last unendingly. Make your wishes and pray on them daily. Also, take your goals and release them to the Divine to become a part of your inner life which in turn will become a part of your outer life and is revealed to the world. For example,
By taking Joy into your heart you will find Happiness.
By taking Hope into your inner life you will live courageously.
By taking Peace into your inner Self you will live serenely.
By taking Love into your being you will be loving and be loved.
By taking Knowledge into your life you will live intelligently, knowingly even wisely! (STQ-2012-p21)

There will always be good and bad days in your practice, times when you experience deep peace and wisdom, and other days of spiritual hollowness. Accept this to be normal.
A good way to return to a happy practice is to take a few days off from your meditation cushion and spend some time on physical exercises or take long walks in the park. (STQ-2013-p27x2)

For this is how
1. The Courageous you
2. The Patient you

Rejoice and know that the Practise of Self-Correction shall at once effectively put an end to the performing of non-virtuous deeds. As a Kuan Yin Contemplative you should always be looking beyond the level of your eyes. So should you also be ever serving beyond your call of duty!
Be not afraid or ashamed of your failure to correct your faults, for even if you failed, failure is a good teacher.

Entering the ranks of a Kuan Yin Contemplative your life shall thenceforth be spent in gaining the Merit to cultivate all the Virtues of the Divine Mother, Chunti Kuan Yin, and the Wisdom to preach those Virtues to those around you and to praise Her glory unceasingly.
Eventually this Path is about attaining the Great Loving Heart so that Praying, Giving, Sitting, Caring, Serving, Practising, Purifying, Renouncing and Harmonising with Life is to be done with the Love that is absolute if the Kuan Yin being is to emerge! (STQ-2011-p36, 2012-p4)
