When you are ready to take up a spiritual life, difficult conditions and circumstances will not deter you. Family will be taken as a great blessing and motivation for practice. Possessions will not cause you to suffer great pain when you lose them, one way or another. Both are not evil in any way if the right attitude and views are held.
