Once you have chosen a path, you will seek teachers. Once you have found a teacher, learn from him, be with him, and put your trust in him. There should be no looking back. If there is constant faltering and constant doubt, how could you accept his guidance? Why did you accept him? Why do you still follow him?
Trust is important when following a teacher. Without it, there can be no faith. If faith is absent, what is the purpose of following your teacher?
Have faith. You will not be forsaken as long as you hold on to your noble aspirations. There may be times when you are rebellious and feel like giving it all up so that you may be by yourself, free to pursue the goals of your life.
