Nothing is fully satisfying in samsara, not even the most wonderful experience, for soon the mind grows accustomed to it, and even the miracles of life come to be seen as common or mundane.
Any experience is good, whether it is happy or sad, profitable or unprofitable, meaningful or unmeaningful. Any experience is beneficial when one is able to learn a lesson from it and become a wiser being. The average person seeks only happy and gainful experiences; he longs for them and prays very hard for them to happen. Yet how many truly happy faces can be seen among such people?
