Ignorance
People are crazy indeed! They seek peace of mind, yet they act in confusion They know that doing good for others will bring happiness to themselves and others, yet they act selfishly. They know that by following the right paths of life, they will have peace of mind and happiness; however, they avoid such paths and instead prefer the evil paths. They know that certain acts are bad for their body and mind, yet they fail to restrain themselves. Despite knowing that they have nothing to lose by heeding the words of their Great Teachers, yet they will not make their efforts to attain their goals. When things go wrong, they moan and ask, “Why?” When things are right, they become careless. Ignorance is a fetter hard to break indeed!
