The act of worship must be accompanied by the proper practice of seeking the knowledge of self-liberation. One must first learn to acquire a calm and pure mind, and one must engage in constant practice to understand the meaning of mind‑cultivation.
Even those who come here to pray with the right intention must learn to attain a mind free from unrelated thoughts, for their minds are filled with such distractions even during prayer and during moments meant for meditation. This is why they have failed to make any inroads into understanding the true nature and the results of one‑pointed concentration in worship.
