You should not fall into the wrong ways because of those whom you believe are doing you wrong and causing you to be unhappy. You are your own cause; you can choose to be happy or otherwise. It is entirely within your capability to switch from one state to the other!
The same is true of all sufferings, whether they arise from sickness, from opportunities in life that seem to be lacking, or even from matters of love! This is how the world has always been and will always be: one being becomes the cause of many others’ mental states of happiness and unhappiness.
Just a word, an act, or even a thought, those around you may either benefit or suffer, depending on the nature of your mind. It will continue to be this way until you become awakened and realise how silly you have been, to entertain the states of mind that tie you down.
