Quote of the day - Jun 20th

When you are able to place your palms together, to bow before the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and to call the name of Namo Kuan Shih Yin P’usa, you are already engaging in the practice of reducing your past bad karma and earning the right to cultivate the Path. Each time you see an image of the Buddha, you gain merit. Each time you place your clasped hands upon your forehead or the crown, you show respect and practise humility—qualities that help create better circumstances and more favourable conditions for your cultivation.
