Quote of the day - Jul 8th

Losing appreciation for life really means not knowing the purpose of life and appreciating its true worth. Those who cling to life, and are striving to experience as much sensual pleasures as possible, are deluded beings who have lost their true directions. No matter what they do, and no matter how much material wealth they gain, they will not know the peace of bliss. What they have experienced, are experiencing, and will experience, is only relative happiness, which brings no true satisfaction. Because of this, they feel insecure, suffer from fear, and are easily swayed by greed, anger, and delusion. Those who appreciate and understand the purpose of life will not be so strongly afflicted by such emotions and confusions. They will work towards attaining the peace and happiness that is ultimate.
Life is not to be clung to, nor is it to be lived for the sake of gaining worldly possessions; but rather it is to walk the Way that brings calm, removes delusion, and increases wisdom!
