About the family:

A family of 3. An elderly woman and one son in the 30s are mentally unwell living with an odd job "normal"son.

Condition of the home:

Last month, HKL requested we sponsor Shelltox - insect spray for this family. It is said to be dirty and 30 cats share their home.

Proposed Program for this family - A clean home before Hari Raya Puasa

1. We will bring along food and provisions, detergents and etc for cleaning

2. Together with staff from HKL and our volunteers, we are to clean up this home before Hari Raya Puasa

3. HKL has asked us to help in "resettlement" for the cats if they are unable to obtain Welfare assistance to collect the cats before the 1st of July. HKL has tried to obtain help from Welfare Dept on this issue. I will try to check with The animal Care group for help. I will keep you posted regarding the "30 unwanted pet".

Volunteers:

A team of students from UTAR are keen to serve by cleaning the home of the needy. They can only confirm over the next 2 days. If it can be arranged they would provide the manpower in cleaning with us and staff fron HKL as assistants.

If you are interested to attend, please contact KC Chu at (012)-(273)-(9303).

A) Meet at KYCO by 8.00am & will make arrangement to car pool

B) We should finish before 12 noon with enough hands and depart for home.
